About PAC

The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is the organization for parents whose children attend programs offered by the Office of Child Development (OCD) in the Culver City Unified School District. PAC is similar to PTAs and booster clubs and operates under a non-profit corporation, Children’s Centers Kids Klub.

The mission of PAC is to enrich and promote early childhood education, as well as before and after-school care, through the programs affiliated with OCD.

Our goals:
• To raise awareness in the community and in homes of the importance of early childhood education.
• To bring into closer relation the home and the school so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
• To coordinate fundraising activities for all PAC programs/classrooms and to raise funds for resources and equipment that will enhance the children’s educational experience –creatively and academically.
• To develop among educators, parents and the general public united efforts for all children and youth that will result in the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and moral education.
